safeguarding policy

Introduction

Weembi is committed to ensuring that all children and vulnerable adults, regardless of age, ability, gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation, feel safe while experiencing the thrill of indoor skydiving. We take our responsibility to participants seriously and actively prioritize their welfare in all our facilities. Safeguarding is a core value at Weembi, and all staff, whether employees or not, are responsible for promoting the well-being of children and vulnerable adults. Our Safeguarding Policy is supported by clear procedures and aligns with our Code of Conduct for all personnel.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

All instructors at Weembi hold the CQP (Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle), a certification that ensures they are qualified to provide respectful care and guidance to all clients. This includes a special focus on vulnerable individuals, both minors and adults, as well as the broader public who visit our facilities. The CQP guarantees that our instructors are trained to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and safety in all interactions with our clients. <br>

If anyone feels unsafe or threatened by the behavior of another individual, they are encouraged to safely approach any member of the Weembi staff. Our team is trained to handle such concerns with the utmost care and confidentiality, ensuring a secure environment for everyone.

Non-Employee Coach Responsibility

Weembi requires all external coaches to share in our Safeguarding responsibilities and adhere to the broader Weembi policies. This includes compliance with the Weembi Non-Employee Code of Conduct, which reflects our core principles and values. External coaches must follow our Safeguarding and other key policies, treating all individuals with respect and ensuring a duty of care when working with children and vulnerable adults. They are expected to proactively comply with relevant legislation and report any concerns. Additionally, external coaches must provide Weembi with a signed Parental Consent Form for any participant under 18 years old. This requirement applies to each individual coach and participant in team-based coaching as well.
